Pattaya introduces bar codes for 90 day reports, removing the paperwork requirement
Some great news for expats living in Chonburi, is that the 90 day report just got much easier!
Over recent months the Immigration office at Soi 5, Jomtien have been trialling a bar code system which removes the requirement for Form TM47, and/or photocopies of your passport.
A typical 90 day report now takes around 5 minutes, with about 4 of those minutes being in wait time. Simply retrieve a number from the front desk, wait for your number to be called and head to the 90 day report desk.
If you are reporting for the first time then you may still need to fill out a form, however this may even change in the near future.
