When a Migration , partner, provisional marriage visa is now submitted at the VFS visa application center for Australia there are now extra charges including all the copied Thai documents have to be witnessed against the originals by the VFS officer,
So even though you would be supplying translated certified copies they need witnessing and stamping so make sure that you take the original documents with you including ID card, tabian baan etc, the VFS are now charging 50 baht per copy to state they have witnessed the original documents.
Even though this sounds like a money making move as a visa consultant it is rather good because the Australian Embassy have a habit of asking applicants to supply copies of documents already submitted so hopefully this will now speed up what is already a dreadfully slow system.
