Today the British embassy knocked back my Thai girlfriends visa application. We applied for a UK visitors visa. We hoped my Thai girlfriend could come to the UK for a 2 month holiday.
They said that they didn’t think she was in real employment and that we are not in a real relationship. Also I think that they might have knocked us back because I have no money in the bank.
Could we appeal the knock back and give the embassy false work records for my girlfriend and my bank statements.

I am sorry to read that you have been refused a visa. From the information you have given me it appears that as your girlfriend works in a bar in Pattaya, the British embassy didn’t view her employment too kindly and doubted your relationship.
Apply for a UK finacee visa
The best way forward is to start again. Though I Strongly advise that you apply for a UK finacee visa. I would suggest that it is possible that the application could be ready for October 2010. In reality applying for the visa any earlier than this will result with another failure.

To answer your question about supplying the embassy with false documents about your Thai girlfriend employment and you bank accounts is extremely dangerous. If the embassy were to find any of the false documents your Thai girlfriend would be banned from entering the UK for 10 years and you could be imprisoned for up to 2 years.
The only way to get a visa for your Thai girlfriend is to get an understanding of what the embassy require and begin to build that.
